KAFD apartments, in detail.
Two residential buildings inside King Abdullah Financial District: an Aramco-occupied building and the 411 apartments. Both required interiors that earned the address — KAFD's architectural standard outside, daily comfort and warmth inside.
Apartment design at this scale lives or dies on the everyday. We worked through every layer that residents actually touch — joinery, lighting, acoustic character, finishes underfoot, the way a kitchen meets a living space — and made each decision with longevity in mind. The result is two buildings that read as KAFD-quality from the outside and as home from the inside. Material restraint, generous proportion, and a delivery process that protected the design through fit-out.
