THE PROJECT

Gymkhana, in detail.

A restaurant lives or dies by atmosphere. We began with the sensory score and worked backwards to materials.

Before we drew a single material plan, we wrote the sensory score: how the room should sound at peak service, what the air should feel like as a guest crosses the threshold, where light should land, and how proximity between tables should read. Then we worked back to materials — every choice traceable to a sensory decision, not a moodboard. The moodboard came last, as a summary of decisions, not a substitute for them.

Hospitality with a sensory brief?

This is the work we are built for.
